Se avete un auto con quel motore, sbarazzatevene prima possibile. Io vendetti la mia serie 5 con quel motore a un bosniaco per 5000 euro già dieci anni fa. Neanche la bmw la voleva indietro. Per il cambio della catena bisognava tirare giù il motore, visto che quei geni hanno posizionato la catena sulla parte posteriore del motore, verso il guidatore. Inoltre l albero ha il pignone saldato, quindi va cambiato tutto l albero a camme. Il massimo è che anche facendo il lavoro, la bmw non garantisce che il problema non si ripresenti da lì a poco. Il tutto per una cifra che oscillava dagli otto ai novemila euro, tra pezzi e manodopera
